Galway, Hurling & the Great Buzz Debate

All-Ireland final fever is back, and Dave, Fionnuala and Producer Leah are plotting their next big outside broadcast - Galway, the Friday before the hurling final. Preferably a big hurling town like Loughrea, for maximum pre-match buzz.But Dave isn’t convinced the craic is there for hurling the way it is for football, and that kicks off a full-on “superior sport” debate. Is hurling too skilful to ever be as widespread? Has football’s new rules made it the better watch? And are we all just in it for the day out anyway?
