It is a AAA Four Diamond resort with more than 100,000 square feet of gaming space.Mohegan Sun Pocono Opens Its Sportsbook Legal sports betting in Pennsylvania has expanded to the Mohegan Sun Pocono. In a soft opening on Sept. 24, the racino welcomed the first patrons to their in-house sportsbook. The new 1,130-square-foot Unibet Sportsbook betting lounge offers a 28-foot wide video wall. There are six sports betting terminals along with two actual teller booths. The lounge also offers a bar and additional seating for around 40 guests.Jonathan Aiwazian is the vice president of Sportsbook for Unibet. He joined fellow Unibet employee William Pyk in the lounge to share in the opening festivities. Pyk is a senior project manager of retail for Unibet. He went on to add “Something new is happening and the regular customers are checking it out.” Aiwazian weighed in with the comment, “Everybody in general is pretty excited. The response to the design of the Sportsbook has been great.”The soft launch continued through Sept. 25 as reported by Easy Mobile Casino Dot-com .
