Game Postponed Due to Smoke | Cleveland Guardians News

Smoke from Canadian wildfires grounded the Pirates vs. Guardians showdown in Cleveland — air quality hit a dangerous 211, forcing a doubleheader Saturday. First game at 1:10 PM, second at 7:10 PM, same tickets valid. Guardians’ Gavin Williams starts first, Logan Allen joins for the nightcap; Pirates’ Jared Jones takes Game 1, starter for Game 2 TBD. Both teams were riding hot streaks — Guardians tied for first, Pirates just outside playoff contention — but safety comes first. Fingers crossed the haze clears soon for some real baseball.
