Game Seven

from Game Seven · host Beaux Arts Lab

On October 10, 1968 the Detroit Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals met for the decisive game of the World Series. Bob Gibson, fresh off a Cy Young and MVP season took the mound against Mickey Lolich. The Tigers had battled back from a 3 games to 1 deficit to tie the series. Gibson was starting his second game seven in two seasons after beating the Red Sox in 1967. This retelling includes the complete play by play broadcast of the game and a dramatic story involving fictional announcers Frank Harrison (Josh Gross) and Michael ‘Mike’ Sterling (Peter Snow). Produced by Beaux Arts Lab in collaboration with Comintern Record Collective, this one of a kind story was written and director by Peter Snow.
