In the aftermath, Tom Foley, Dar's husband, becomes the focus of the police investigation. Before long, he finds himself convicted of the crime and sent to prison. But a retrial based on new evidence reveals the jury choosing not guilty the second time around. In the end, justice has not been served for Dar Foley.
