Gamecocks' Buzzer-Beater, Chaos: NCAA Hopes Hinge on C-USA Tourney

Jacksonville States Mens Basketball Team Secures Thrilling Victory, Faces NCAA Tournament Hurdle: Jacksonville States mens basketball team secured a dramatic 64-61 win over UTEP, thanks to a buzzer-beating three-pointer from Mostapha El Moutauakkil. This victory kept their faint hopes for the NCAA Tournament alive as they head into the Conference USA Tournament. However, the game was marred by post-game chaos when an angry fan threatened officials with a bench chair during the handshake line. Players from both teams intervened to prevent any real trouble, and the situation de-escalated without injuries. Jacksonville State, led by veteran coach Ray Harper, sits at 15-16 overall with a 10-10 conference record, good for seventh in the standings. They must win the tournament to secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament, as Liberty leads the conference and is likely to receive an automatic bid. UTEP, at 11-20 overall, will join the Mountain West Conference next year. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
