GameEngineStart Podcast – Voices

Another week and the show actually manages to stay on track talking about videogames. I'm just as shocked as you are. On this episode... Intermission Music... Strange Voyage - Darren Korb - Pyre: Original Soundtrack Steam (DLC) | Bandcamp | Supergiant Store We Played... Hellblade:Senua's Sacrifice was released and took us by surprise at how intense and dark a depiction of psychosis a character action game can have. Euan looks at the new No Mans Sky patch, which is making real efforts to build it as a worth while product, and Subsurface Circular, a robot visual novel. In News... Valve have announced a new game! I mean it sounds like a Hearthstone-like, but still! Spelunky developer Derek Yu is joining with a selection of other indie devs to release UFO 50, a collection of 16-bit themed games. Planet Coaster developers Frontier are making a Jurassic World management game. Can't wait to build my park and then just delete the walls of the T-Rex enclosure. THQ Nordic has their first new game leaked, Biomutant, which appears to feature a Red Panda / Raccoon with a gun and a sword, and joined by a mechanical grasshopper. All those words sounds great. ...and more!
