Gameplay: Trine 4: Melody of Mystery (DLC)

The series centers on a magical artifact that encapsulates the souls of three heroes (a wizard, a knight, and a thief) who use their combined abilities to solve puzzles and fight enemies. This game can be played solo or in multiplayer. This DLC for Trine 4, called "Melody of Mystery" and released in 2019, is an extra episode to the first game (The Nightmare Prince). It complements the adventure, and it's almost a tradition for Trine to release a DLC with each new game. Melody of Mystery will add a six-level campaign to Trine 4 to enhance the experience. These will be new stages where Amadeus, Pontius, and Zoya will have enhanced abilities to use as they solve all sorts of puzzles using elements such as ice caps and torches, forcing them to use all their ingenuity. To play this DLC, you obviously need the base game, so I recommend the "Definitive Edition," which includes both the base game and the DLC. This game is available on PC (Steam, EA Origin, GOG, Humble Store) and, of course, on PlayStation, Xbox Store, and Nintendo Switch. I played it on my Steam Deck, and it runs perfectly, as it's the verified version, so you can also play it on Linux using Proton.
