GAMES WE PLAY

Took myself out for a walk down to Leicester Square. People running round and round without a care. Walked right up to Compton Street looking for eye candy. Drag queens and daddy bears making out they`re happy. Saw a girl in a see-thru top on rollerskates, Well she was great. And a guy with a hairdo in a silver dress, he was in a state. Well those I games I used to play, I don`t play them anymore. Well those are games I used to play, now it`s all a a bore. Life`s a game, a game we play, we know that we`re in it but we play it anyway. See that old girl lying on the street ? She`s cold and hungry, she ain`t got nowhere to sleep. See that guy in the dapper suit ? He`s got the money and he don`t give a hoot. Roller skates she go skating by, hairdo-guy, he just turn and smile. Preacher preaching armageddon, guess I won`t be going to heaven. Life`s a game, a game we play, we know that we`re in it but we play it anyway. Who`s that guy standing by the door of the sex shop ? Well he`s a cop. Making eyes at the guy in the boots and the leather top, well don`t they rock. Well those I games I used to play, I don`t play them anymore.
