Gaming News 101 for April 2nd 2015

Today is a recap of the most recent Nintendo Direct, so let’s get to it. Mewtwo is coming to smash on April 28th and is priced at 3.99 for 3ds and 4.99 for WiiU. Lucas is also joining the roster, slated for a current release of June. More amiibos are headed your way, those included are Charizard, Pacman, Zero suit Samus, Ganondorf and more! Also, feel free to pick up a yarn yoshi amiibo if you like adorable things and easy gifts for your nerdy significant other. Moving on from Smash, Mario Maker is on track to be released in December. Splatoon hit the screen next, where it was announced the game would have ranked play. If you enjoyed the N64 then get ready for Donkey Kong 64, Super Mario 64, and Paper Mario to hit the virtual console in the near future. For those who enjoy being a dad, Octodad is coming the WiiU this summer. Shin Megami Tensei cross Fire Emblem, Fatal Frame, and Pokemon Rumble were all new games which were announced for all variety of gamers. If you really, really love streetpass, then get prepared for Mii Plaza Premium…but be prepared to pay for it! Yay? The final bit of large news came in the form of Mario Kart 8, where 3 racers, 4 vehicles, and 8 courses are being added for 7.99. Fans of animal crossing can rejoice to know Isabelle is included in the new Amiibo card selection and will be a driver in the upcoming DLC.
