感谢:你是如何回应他人的感谢的

from Quora Selected 附导读

What is your typical response when someone says "Thank you"?You're welcome? No problem? I'm fond of “of course!”Kittie Eubank, I know people. I've been several.Written Aug 21After too many years at Nordstrom, my default response became, “My pleasure!”This got me some strange looks when I got back into the corporate world. I have consciously shifted to thinking about my response and using one that fits the situation. It’s hard, and sometimes I still slip back into habit.“Of course!” is one of my favorites, especially when it’s a boss thanking me for doing something well or going above and beyond.“You're welcome” has always been hard for me to say for some reason. I’ve wondered why many times, when I found myself giving an awkward head bob and no verbal response to thanks. The best I’ve come up with is that “You’re welcome” seems to be somehow self-satisfied, like the person owed you their thanks and you’re acknowledging that they have fulfilled that obligation. This makes absolutely no sense. In fact, the phrase itself makes no logical sense to me. “You are welcome to thank me for what I did for you”? “You are welcome to the service I just provided to you”? What does this even mean? And I’m definitely not a fan of “No problem” - I only use it when it was, indeed, a problem, as that’s what it seems to me to imply.
