Ganot’s UH Hoop Surge

The University of Hawaii basketball program is on fire after their NCAA Tournament run, with head coach Eran Ganot locking down top recruits, securing a contract extension, and reshaping his staff—including promoting Gibson Johnson to associate head coach. With two roster spots open, they’re adding proven talent like Marcus Adams and Bol Dengdit, plus depth at guard with Tiger Cuff and Jaden Matingou. The energy is electric, fueled by a sold-out youth camp and a deep love for Hawaii, contrasting sharply with last year’s Big West Tournament miss. Ganot’s strategic recruiting and strong coaching staff reflect a program built for sustained success—so strong that other schools are already eyeing his assistants.
