Garcia’s Return on Hold After Hand Pain | Kansas City Royals News

Maikel Garcia’s return timeline just hit a major snag after he felt pain in his injured left hand during a rehab game, forcing him back to Kansas City for further evaluation. The Royals’ third baseman, who’s been a reliable presence with a solid .250 batting average in 69 games before the injury, now faces an uncertain recovery as he’s sidelined again. Josh Rojas will step in at third base, and with the trade deadline looming, the team’s infield depth is suddenly under the microscope. No return date has been set — Garcia’s health remains the biggest story for Royals fans this week. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
