Gardaí forced to flag down taxi after being assaulted

A lack of support for Gardai has been highlighted, after two members of the force were assaulted in Dublin City Centre in the early hours of Monday morning. Where they also had their equipment stolen, and were forced to flag down a taxi as no patrol car was available. To share their thoughts on what happened, Ciara spoke to President of the Garda Representative Association, Niall Hodgins.
