Garden City: Work Isn't Cursed

Work was part of God's original design, not a punishment. But after the fall in Genesis 3, the ground was cursed, and that curse is what makes work feel so exhausting and frustrating today. The thorns we experience, whether difficult coworkers, burnout, injustice, or even our own pride, grow alongside the real fruit our work still produces. Jesus Himself experienced the thorns of hard work, loneliness, and exhaustion, so He understands what we face. The key is learning to hold both realities at once: work is hard, and work still matters. God is present in both the fruit and the thorns, and one day, the curse will be lifted entirely.
