Gary Chapman

Gary Chapman is my guest this week.. A dynamic, witty, passionate singer, songwriter, producer, talk show host that I first met in college. I remember his talent for songwriting and his quick wit, but he left in the middle of my Freshman year, to pursue his calling in Nashville. You would know him for the song he penned “Fathers Eyes” for Amy Grants Christian break out in 1979. He later married Amy and started a family spending next decades writing hit songs , performing , producing, talk show hosting , and letting his quick wit sprinkle the room with laughter. And like so many of us- his journey took some different paths, and now full circle we will talk about where he is today. Still writing, performing producing and a beautiful new family to care for. He will be performing The Boondocks Music Festival Oct 3rd in Farmersville Texas.
