His list of accomplishments is long and broad, but notable were investments in public healthcare, education and infrastructure, and balanced budgets during each of those 10 years.In 2005, Business Week named him as one of the top 20 international leaders on climate change. In 2009, Mr. Doer succeeded Michael Wilson as Canadian Ambassador to the United States, serving until 2016.
