Gary McCoy's Story:  As an Applied Sports Scientist,  my role is to enable the evolution of athlete performance. In this role, it's a failure to be a "student of the game". I need to be a "student of the athlete"- within- the environment of the game. Reduce Injury.  Improve Performance. Simple statements -yet-highly complex tasks. I currently work with world-class organizations to provide insight and guidance in the emerging area of high performance. I work with analytics companies and wearable technology manufacturers in the pursuit of insights for coaches across all sports. I provide continuing education to trainers, students, and coaches. I continue my personal journey through research, practice, and critical thinking with the many brilliant minds I'm fortunate to connect with around the globe.
