Gary Owen’s Comedy Journey | Spokane News

Gary Owen’s comedy journey began as a kid sneaking into clubs and critiquing acts in his head—then, at 18, he joined the Navy in San Diego, where he kept studying the craft on stage. That first live performance? A shock—but also an addiction. From there, he landed movie gigs like “Think Like a Man” and TV roles on “House of Payne.” Today, he’s mastering social media to stay visible, dropping crowd work clips and researching local vibes before every show. Whether it’s a packed theater or a tiny room, his goal is simple: make people leave feeling better than when they arrived.
