Wolfe (21YO) and his girlfriend, Brook (18YO) took a ‘business trip’ from Houston, TX to Moss Point, MS to collect this debt. Wolfe and Brook arrived at Gary's house in the evening. Found Gary sitting on the porch in the dark waiting for them. They all went inside (where Milano was hiding) and Gary told Milano and Brook he did not have the money. Milano shot Wolfe 9 times. Gary then hogtied Brook. Raped and tortured her, put her in a box that Gary made. While she was in the box, Gary & Milano cut Wolfe’s body up into 88-108 pieces in the bathtub then went behind the home and fed the pieces to the alligators. Brook came to and was able to escape. She found herself home alone with a VERY clean house! She ran to the neighbors and eventually was given help when 911 arrived. She saw Gary arrive back at home and thankfully was able to remain safe and was not re-captured! Brook was naked and escaped. The neighbor let her in??? No ring door bell camera. No cell phone. Gary found that Brook was gone so he fled to Mobile, AL to a mall and basically recorded a confession tape and addressed it to a woman named Lori. (His estranged wife/ex-wife) This video was definitely an old school KMart looking backdrop. He just straight up sat in the mall in a store and made a video!?!?? WTH I lived in Mobile for quite some time, there are 2 malls. One indoor and one more of an outdoor plaza type. Creeps me out! Mobile mall…Bel-Air?? Springdale?? So, Lori gets a tape in the mail of Gary and freaks out. The police tie it all together. Gary turns himself in. Eventually was executed on death row by the state of MS. So, Gary knew he had to kill Wolfe due to money. So he threatens Milano (Lori’s brother who lives with her) and said if you dont help me, I will kill Lori and the kids in front of you. (Gary threatened to kill his own kids wth??) So of course Milano complied to save his sister and nieces/nephews. BUT Milano shot Wolfe 9 times! He could have shot Wolfe once or twice then immediately shot Gary and said it was self defense or something? Instead he didnt harm Gary at all and shot Wolfe 9 daggum times??? Maybe Milano isnt as innocent as the media portrays him to be… Anyways, Lori is eventually interviewed and we find out that their marriage was nothing short of horrific. A lot of abuse and control. Gary had weird rape fantasies and would rape Lori. He told her it wasn’t rape since they were married so she lived with it. She finally got the balls to leave Gary and went to file for divorce. Evidently in MS in 1996, if a woman filed for divorce she had to take a pregnancy test. Lori then found out that day she was pregnant and was devastated because if you are pregnant they wouldn't grant you a divorce. Regardless of what is going on at home. So she waited another year after having her baby and then tried again to leave him and overall was successful. She was able to get in touch with a Women’s Advocacy Group that helped her and her kids get an apartment and get on their feet. Her brother, Milano, also came to help her when he could. Once Gary was arrested. He had a hit put out on Brook from jail and she dodged death again!!!! Of course Gary went to jail and was sentenced to the death penalty but she knew he had already tried to kill her from jail once, would he do it again? He probably was trying to have her killed because she was the only witness. Once she testified and everything was done I don't see why he would continue to try to kill her. But I understand her fear!! Fear and worry overwhelmed her!! Even after Gary was convicted, she changed her physical identity and moved every.single.year. To avoid death. She lived in fear and extreme guilt! She had convinced herself that Gary would even get his kids or Lori involved. Maybe Lori and the kids hated Brook for ‘taking their Dad away’. Or maybe their view is that Brook is the reason he is dead due to her testimony and the sentence? In 2023, Lori had an interview with Brook and thanked her!!! Lori said they pray for Brook everyday and cannot thank her enough for her bravery and strength. He raped and abused Lori. He did it to Brook too. Brook stopped it. Lori admired her for that.
