Gary Smith
from The Masters of Running Podcast.
Gary Smith from the UK was the silver medallist in the 050s 100m hurdles at the recent World Masters Championships in a pb of 14.10. He is a former international elite in 110m hurdles and long jump. His plans for the Decathlon in the 2004 Olympics were well on track until an horrific accident in his garden which he outlines here. His grit, faith and determination brought him back to competition a whole 13 years later in 2017 and he's since achieved huge domestic, European & World success. I think you'll all enjoy this but maybe hurdlers will particularly love this as there's great info on training and the tech he uses. Please rate the podcast wherever you listen.
