Gavin Williams Dominates, Nearly Perfect | Cleveland Guardians News

Gavin Williams dominated on Sunday, tossing five scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts and just one hit and walk before rain forced a delay — nearly a perfect game! He’s now on a five-start streak of 10+ strikeouts, tied for second-best in MLB since 1900, and leads the AL with 178 Ks on pace for his first 200-K season since 2019. His manager and catcher rave about his focus and attack style, especially after striking out six of the first nine batters. Though a single and walk in the sixth broke up the no-hitter, Williams’ command and 100-mph fastball make him nearly unhittable. The Guardians won 5-0, and with the off-day ahead, this was a huge momentum boost. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
