Gay Priest Kills Two Men in a Funeral Home _ And Blames _God_s Plan_

In February 2002, a Wisconsin priest murdered two men at a funeral home before taking his own life. Father Ryan Erickson shot funeral director Dan O'Connell and employee James Ellison after O'Connell confronted him about suspected child molestation. Erickson later confessed to a deacon, saying, "I done it, and they were going to catch me." When police questioned him, he denied everything. Days later, he was found hanged from a fire escape. A judge ruled he "almost certainly" committed the killings, but he escaped justice by his own hand.
