Gaza: Israel denies targeting Red Cross medics

The Israeli military has sought to defend its actions in Gaza a week ago when its troops fired upon a convoy of vehicles, killing fifteen paramedics, civil defence workers and a UN worker. An Israeli spokesman said there had been no random shooting and militants had been targeted.
