GBC Survey, DPC Concerns, Northern Defences

GBC audience figures are up and viewers and listeners are tuning in for longer and more frequently. The corporation has revealed the findings of its 2023 Audience Survey which indicates huge support for the Public Service Broadcaster. The changes implemented in March 2023 have enjoyed great success with 85% of people surveyed rating the changes as Excellent, Very Good or Good. CEO James Neish joined us in the studio to discuss the results further.A group of concerned residents is calling for a development in Secretary's Lane and Governor's Lane, for a boutique hotel, to be be considered at 'Outline Planning Stage' at the DPC. Carmel Khalilian spoke on behalf of the group.And, the Government will be carrying out a drone survey of the Northern Defences to record the existing topography and identify man-made structures such as walls, steps or bunkers hidden under foliage and vegetation. Claire Hernandez has been up there this morning.
