Gear Change

Gear Change Life throws things at us fast. Suddenly, what we thought was going to be the focus of the moment can turn to dust, and something else takes over the entirety of our plate. It may be that all of our effort is needed to address the sudden situation. It may also be that it takes all of our energy to be able to process what we just saw, heard, experienced. It may be light and fun, like a great song. It may be silly and awkward like a fart. However, it can also be really heavy, painful and scary. It can also become a sudden matter of life and death, a medical emergency or bad accident. It is amazing how we are really quite adept at being able to change gears on the fly the way we can. It’s quite an amazing feat that us humans can pull off. Let’s chat about that, shall we?
