Geek God: Darryl McDaniels (aka DMC)

Growing up, Darryl McDaniels probably thought he was more likely to make a living off of drawing than to become a member of the Rock and roll Hall of Fame. Before he became the devastating, mic controlling DMC of Run-DMC, Mc Daniels loved comic books. Superheroes taught him history and gave him confidence. Now, he and his business partner Edgardo Miranda-Rodriguez have launched Darryl Makes Comics, a publishing company. And their first project is the aptly named comic book, DMC.
