Geekscape 657: Filmmaking Duo The Bragg Brothers!

from Geekscape · host Geekscape

Based on an amazing true story, 'Pinball: The Man Who Saved the Game' was one of my favorite films from last year's festival circuit! In 1976, GQ writer Roger Sharpe, a self professed pinball fanatic, helped lift a 35-year ban on the game of pinball in the state of New York. Did you even know that pinball had been banned in major American cities? After seeing the film at the Santa Fe International Film Festival and falling in love with it I had to have Austin and Meredith on the show to talk about making it! Join us and I think you'll love them and the film as much as I do! Horror Movie Night Geekscape Join Matt, Scott and Kyle each week as they suffer through horror films both forgotten and beloved. The trio capture the excitement and the disappointment of renting movies in the 80’s and 90’s. For every surprising thrill like American Gothic the trio suffer through there's 10 disappointing flops like Terror Toons. The show combines the nostalgia of renting videos with a snarky comedic blend that will make you feel sentimental while simultaneously putting a smile on your face. So dust off your VCR, make some popcorn and check behind every door because it’s… Horror Movie Night. Explicit One Hit Thunder Geekscape Yes, One Hit Thunder in a long-running podcast about one hit wonders, and yes, it’s hosted by Chris Fafalios of the band Punchline and Matt Kelly of the Geekscape Network, but don’t let THAT be what convinces you to listen and subscribe. Instead, read the words of this 1 star review left by Royalsfan83 with the subject line “Garbage”: Yet another music podcast by insipid, try-hard millennials who amaze themselves at how edgy they are. You can get this content from countless other shows minus the delusional leftist rants. Hard pass. Explicit Dynamic Resolution: A Video Game Show Geekscape Bi-weekly discussions on the current trends, news, drama, and stories in gaming and more dynamic conversations! Explicit Playing With Squirrels: A Boy Meets World Fancast Geekscape A Podcast discussing Boy Meets World one Episode at a time. Every episode will be released the same day as the original air date and over the next 7 years we will cover the entire series with a revolving door of Boy Meets World fans. Explicit
