Geekscape 716: Helping Our Geekscape Brother Dustin Rubin!

from Geekscape · host Geekscape

On January 8th, our 'Two Dollar Late Fee' podscaster Dustin Rubin and his wife Erin evacuated their house in Alta Dena to avoid high winds and rolling power outages. They thought that they’d be safely back home the next day. But in less than 24 hours, the Eaton Fire tore through their neighborhood, taking their house, car, and belongings with them. They lost everything they own. We here at Geekscape are grateful that Dustin, Erin, and their two dogs Gus and Elliot are safe. But it’s going to take a lot for them to rebuild their lives. Join us as The Geekscape Family gathers to support Dustin, share stories, and raise awareness for the other victims of this national tragedy. Horror Movie Night Geekscape Join Matt, Scott and Kyle each week as they suffer through horror films both forgotten and beloved. The trio capture the excitement and the disappointment of renting movies in the 80’s and 90’s. For every surprising thrill like American Gothic the trio suffer through there's 10 disappointing flops like Terror Toons. The show combines the nostalgia of renting videos with a snarky comedic blend that will make you feel sentimental while simultaneously putting a smile on your face. So dust off your VCR, make some popcorn and check behind every door because it’s… Horror Movie Night. Explicit One Hit Thunder Geekscape Yes, One Hit Thunder in a long-running podcast about one hit wonders, and yes, it’s hosted by Chris Fafalios of the band Punchline and Matt Kelly of the Geekscape Network, but don’t let THAT be what convinces you to listen and subscribe. Instead, read the words of this 1 star review left by Royalsfan83 with the subject line “Garbage”: Yet another music podcast by insipid, try-hard millennials who amaze themselves at how edgy they are. You can get this content from countless other shows minus the delusional leftist rants. Hard pass. Explicit Dynamic Resolution: A Video Game Show Geekscape Bi-weekly discussions on the current trends, news, drama, and stories in gaming and more dynamic conversations! Explicit Playing With Squirrels: A Boy Meets World Fancast Geekscape A Podcast discussing Boy Meets World one Episode at a time. Every episode will be released the same day as the original air date and over the next 7 years we will cover the entire series with a revolving door of Boy Meets World fans. Explicit
