Gelareh Khoie, writer, artist, DJ and founder of the Disco Liberation Movement

I spoke to Gelareh Khoie, writer, artist, DJ, budding Jungian scholar and a familiar face to many of my Hawaii listeners. Gelareh founded, owned and operated the highly successful art space and dance club called thirtyninehotel, which was located in the heart of Honolulu's historic Chinatown district. After completing two master's degree, she is now a doctoral candidate enrolled in the Jungian and Archetypal studies program and writing her dissertation on the topic of Disco.
