Genevieve Skittone, known by her stage name GELEXAIDA, is a singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist originally from the Chicago suburbs. Influenced by chart-topping pop, rock, and R&B artists, she always dreamed of a career in the entertainment industry, despite struggling with stage fright. Her love for writing was sparked in a junior high poetry class, where she discovered a talent for storytelling and began to envision sharing her work on a larger stage. In 2018, she made her first mark in the music industry by co-writing and releasing tracks with artists like KRTR, Astrobound, and G2. The following year, GELEXAIDA released her debut EP, "Press Play", which she both wrote and co-produced, marking her official emergence as a solo artist.
