GEN XYZ: A Candid Conversation Across Three Generations

from Heart & Light Living: Come Home to You · host Michele R. Jones

This is the first episode of what I believe is becoming something much bigger: GENXYZ. A space for the tri-generational dialogue that I truly believe we need right now. Different timelines. Shared humanity.Y'all, we did not ease into this one. No formal intro, no warm-up. We just dove straight in, and honestly? That's exactly how this conversation needed to start.I sat down with two people I love and trust, Noah (Gen Z) and Nora Shabayek (Millennial), and we did something I don't think happens nearly enough: we actually talked across generational lines. No blame, no stereotypes, no generational warfare. Just three people from different timelines trying to make sense of the same wild moment we're all living through. We got into AI, and I'll be honest, I can't even bring myself to call it that anymore. To me it's a digital consciousness, and this conversation made me think differently about how we're showing up in relationship to it.We also got real about something I see every single day in my practice: people feeling like their bodies are betraying them. Physical inflammation, emotional inflammation, soul-level exhaustion that no amount of sleep or coffee is touching. That's not just personal, that's collective, and it's telling us something. And then we went there on the systems. Healthcare. Education. Finance. As a Gen Xer, I've watched these structures creak and groan my whole adult life, and I've got some thoughts. But what gave me hope in this conversation is that the scaffolding for something new is already being built, and these two are part of it.Guests:Michele R.
