The “human interaction effect” is the idea that we grow to like and to be like people around us. When we hang out on a regular basis with fellow indwelt believers who prioritize living out the Life of Christ, we’re more likely to do likewise. Humans exemplify the behaviors of those they associate. No wonder the writer of Hebrews was so adamant about regular church gatherings (see 10:23–25); keeping faith with faithful people fosters faithfulness in & through Christ – THAT IS IF THEY ARE INDWELT BY HIM.
