Pastor Bill. Single. Married. Straight. Gay. Queer. Trans. Cis. Our cultural moment puts so much emphasis on gender and sexual expression that it makes one wonder: what does it mean to be human? Who am I? Who has the authority to answer that question? The Bible teaches that we are uniquely made in the image of God and that only He has the authority to impart identity. Christians: “You are not your own; you were bought at a price” (1 Cor. 6:20). Jesus suffered and died to offer you eternal meaning. Purpose. God-given, soul-satisfying identity in Christ alone.
