Gene Clohessy On Her ‘The Wild Cure’ Exhibition In Kilkee

from Clare FM · host Clare FM

Art has the power to inspire, uplift and connect us with the world around us, and a new exhibition opening in Kilkee celebrates exactly that.   The Wild Cure, by Doonbeg-based artist Gene Clohessy, brings together a vibrant collection of colourful and expressive works that reflect her passion for creativity and the natural world.   Gene is a self-taught artist, educator and creative facilitator whose work spans everything from painting and mosaics to photography and textile art.   Her fifth solo exhibition is now on display at Cultúrlann Sweeney Gallery and has now been extended until Sunday, 9th August.  Earlier, Alan Morrissey spoke with Gene to learn more.
