Gene Schafer is the owner and operator of ARC Athletics in Tribeca. He started the fitness and sports rehab facility after working as an athletic trainer at Columbia University for 5 years. ARC is celebrating 16 years this June. Gene has extensive knowledge and expertise in keeping people fit while being mindful previous injuries that may preclude them from exercising. Gene has been in New York for 21 years after stops in Chicago and Philadelphia. He lives downtown with his wife and 2 children.
