Genesis 11: God’s Response to Rebellion For Our Sake

Just as God had humanity in mind while He created all that He created; He also has our good in mind when He gives us His commandments. All God’s commandments are for our good because He has a good plan for us; He wants us to lay hold to an inheritance and a hope that will ultimately be consummated in Christ Jesus. But we have a propensity to resist God’s good plan for plans we ourselves conceive, but our plans, many as they may be, lead only to our destruction. God sent His word to heal us from the destruction of our choosing to rebel, which leads to death and His word leads to life and that more abundantly. But we have to submit ourselves and commit our way to Him and trust and patiently wait for Him to bring His good plan to pass in our lives.
