Genesis 2:1-17 | The Meaning of Work

Before the fall, before the sweat and the thorns, before work became a burden – there was a garden. And in that garden, God placed the man He had formed and gave him something to do. Work was not a consequence of sin; it was a gift. In Genesis 2, we discover that to be made in the image of a creating God is to be made for meaningful labor.
