1) Know Your Enemy (v. 1) 2) Know Yourself (v. 2-3) 3) Know His Strategies (v. 4-5) 4) Turn Away from Sin (v. 6) 5) Turn to Christ (v.6) ...the same principle applies in our spiritual battle. We have an adversary. We have an enemy who is bent on our destruction. He is tirelessly and relentlessly making moves against you, moving pieces into place to corner us. To trap us. To deceive us. To draw us in to sin. And if we are going to have any chance in this battle, in this spiritual chess game that we are in, we have to understand the tactics and the strategies of our adversary.
