Genesis 3:14-21 Salvation through the Seed of the Woman (December 18, 2022 AM, Rev. Michael Grasso)

Genesis 3:15 is often recognized as the very first gospel promise.  The promise states that the seed of the woman will crush the head of the serpent.  What is sometimes not appreciated is that this promise comes in the context of childbearing, thereby showing the importance of childbearing in God’s redemptive plan.  The attack on traditional roles for women is, therefore, an attack on the church of Christ.  Woman is saved through childbearing.
