Genesis: Blessed From the Beginning | Our World is Blessed

“The future of the church is ancient.” What a surprising thing to believe, but the reality is God has given us all we need to navigate even the thorniest of issues we encounter. In a new series, we’ll be studying the oldest book in the Bible, Genesis. Genesis is the beginning of the lore, the founding myth, of all humanity, whether or not we, going about our day to day lives now, centuries removed from its stories and characters, are aware of it or not. The Bible begins by explaining how God has made the world to be the kind of place where humans can be who he made us to be. That’s what Genesis 1 is all about. In this message, Pastor Joel unpacks how the world was initially made to be that kind of place, and how it continues to be even now.
