Genesis Study 12

Genesis 2:23-25 Scott starts this Genesis Bible study podcast sharing that he is looking forward to this one because he kept finding more cool stuff as he continued to study these verses. The first topic discussed is the different Hebrew words for “man” and what they might mean when they are used. Scott follows with his Hebrew word pictures for “man” and “woman” and shows how God is reflected in both sexes. God presenting woman to Adam is discussed and followed with word studies on the word’s “bone” and “flesh”. More remarkable Hebrew word pictures are considered for these words that paint a glorious picture of God. The idea of Adam and God before the fall being completely open with each other, before we knew to be ashamed of nakedness, is examined. Scott presents evidence that shows how Jesus coming down from Heaven was even a greater sacrifice than at first thought and Brad is overwhelmed by the idea of what that means.
