Genesis- The Generations

In this powerful episode of The Basic With Jesus Podcast, we journey through Genesis chapters 4, 5 and 6, exploring the first generations after Eden. Two distinct legacies unfold—Cain’s line marked by pride, rebellion, and violence, and Seth’s line marked by worship, faith, and a desire to walk with God. Over 1,600 years pass from the fall in the Garden to the Ark and the Great Flood—years where darkness grows louder, but God’s voice never stops speaking. Through creative, Spirit-led storytelling, two teens walk with Jesus and discover that even in a world forgetting God, some still remembered. From the pain of Cain’s jealousy to the faith of Enoch who walked so closely with God he was taken, we see that legacy is built not in perfection, but in obedience. The episode ends just as episode 1 did with hope—continuing our introduction of Noah, a man who found favor with God. As the flood nears, a door is built… not just of wood, but of mercy.
