Genevieve Gyseman
from Erratic Control
In this episode I interview Genevieve Gyseman. Host of Porter's Cardiff's Open Mic night, as well as being a prolific busker and songwriter. Genevieve's humour and happiness can be in stark contrast to her sometimes dark and serious music - plus she has an amazing and unusual voice. We discussed her role as host of open mic night and her songwriters club, the influence of her family (and karaoke) on her music and how "The Great Gig In The Sky" helped her through a particularly difficult point in her life.Genevieve also recorded an as of yet unreleased track - "Little Light" - for the podcast which you can watch on the Erratic Control Facebook or YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nFDOwB694QMake sure you subscribe to get weekly episodes: iTunes - http://itunes.apple.com/podcast/erratic-control/id1241023364Stitcher - https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/erratic-control Pocket Casts - http://pca.st/uKB4You can also listen online at http://www.soundcloud.com/erraticcontrolNext week's episode is with Francesca's Word Salad
