Genghis Khan
from dacca · host dacca
Well, I drew inspiration from two of my earlier tracks to create this piece: https://soundcloud.com/dacca/beltane https://soundcloud.com/dacca/harmony The entire composition is made from Apple loops. The mix of musical styles (according to Apple) is Irish, English, Bosnian, "Eastern" (whatever that means) and Chinese. In my mind I was telling the story of the Mongol invasion into Eastern Europe, which mightily disturbed the medieval royal courts all the way to the Western edge of Western Europe. The mix felt right for the subject matter, to me. I hope you enjoy it - please feel free to download - it's free!
