A manufacturing defect in the easy-open pull-tab can lid compromises the seal over time. The recall includes can codes S84N D2L with a Best if Used By date of January 21, 2028, S84N D3L with a Best if Used By date of January 24, 2028, and S88N D1M with a Best if Used By date of January 17, 2028.This contaminated canned tuna was sold at Meijer stores in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin; Giant Foods stores in Maryland and Virginia; and Safeway, Albertsons, Vons, and Pavilions stores in California. Do not consume this recalled canned tuna, and return it to the place of purchase.
