Gentle Savior Righteous Judge

Have you ever seen a bruised reed? It's bent over. It can't stand erect, and the top part just has to twist whatever way the wind blows. It's helpless. A smoldering wick is just almost out. Leave it alone and it just goes out. Blow on it too hard, and it just goes out. It's dying, and it just can't take too much. There are people like that, you know. In fact, a lot of us have been bruised reeds and smoldering wicks. Perhaps that’s you, right now. Jesus loves bruised reeds and smoldering wicks. He came into this world especially for them. He’s a Gentle Savior and a Righteous Judge.
