Presented by FLY Racing Unless you've been living under a rock thus far in. 2020, you should already know that Spanish trials and off-road motorcycle manufacturer Gas Gas has been acquired by the KTM Group. In motocross and off-road circles, this means another complete set of machines based on the tried-and-true KTM platforms, but what does this mean for moto trials? For now, the championship-winning machines will be produced as is, but expect some KTM influence to find its way onto the popular bikes. 10-time National Trial Champion Geoff Aaron is the biggest name in American moto trials, and even though he retired from pro competition years ago he has continued to be an ambassador for the sport with his ERE action sports shows, and as Team Manager of the US Gas Gas Trials Team. Moto trials in America has long been a small, niche part of off-road motorcycling, but we'rfe predicting that with the KTM Group's involvement, the underappreciated and underexposed sport will finally gain some widespread popularity.
