Geoffrey Parish, Emerson Alum '97, Joins for the Public Diplomacy Speaker Series

 Geoffrey Parish graduated Emerson with a BA in Political Communication and an MBA from Cambridge University in England.  Geoff is the Senior Commercial Officer at the U.S. Consulate –Hong Kong & Macau, where he leads the team providing advocacy and navigating market access issues on behalf of U.S. companies doing business in the market. Before serving in Hong Kong, Geoff was the Deputy Senior Commercial Officer for India. Based in New Delhi, he managed operations for the agency’s largest overseas post, with seven offices and 70 staff across the country, as well as Commerce’s activities in Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and Maldives. Geoffrey previously served at the U.S. Consulate in Hong Kong (2017-2020), the U.S. Consulate in Mumbai (2015-2017), and at the U.S. Export Assistance Center in Boston (2014-2015).
