from City Cast Twin Cities · host City Cast

It’s a symbol of solidarity between Minneapolis and Madison, after local police fatally shot a Black man last Wednesday. Six years after the murder of George Floyd, the site of a burned-down Wells Fargo will now be home for at least 100 new tenants. Karla Henderson, president and CEO of Project for Pride in Living, tells us how she marshaled millions of dollars from every level of local government and from corporations who didn’t always believe in the project.
